Sophie is a leading archaeologist and an expert on Pompeii - who is also writing a book about the women who excavated Pompeii. Tristan studied Ancient History at the University of Edinburgh and is the host of The Ancients history podcast. Hes' travelled to sites across the world to present ancient history documentaries.

Visit London’s royal palaces and meet Dr Tracy Borman

Tour London's Royal Palaces with historian, Dr Tracy Borman. On this four-day tour you will visit some of London's finest Royal Palaces, including guided tours of Westminster Abbey, the Queen's State Apartments, King's Apartments Rooms at Kensington Palace, and Hampton Court Palace - where you'll meet Dr Tracy, who'll give an exclusive talk. Visit Colditz Castle and Stalag Luft III with Guy Walters

Immerse yourself in Second World War history in the company of expert historian, Guy Walters. You will visit some of the war's most iconic locations, including Colditz Castle and the Stalag Luft III prisoner-of-war camp which was made famous by the 1963 film, The Great Escape, starring Steve McQueen. Guy will accompany you on the trip and share the real-life heroic stories of Allied prisoners of war. You will also visit Dresden and its Museum of Military History.
