Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure through Canada and Alaska’s wildernesses, sailing on a cruise ship and riding the Rocky Mountaineer train

Discover the very best that Alaska and British Columbia have to offer on this unforgettable 12-night adventure, with a coastal cruise and a first-class train journey into the heart of the Rockies.

First you'll explore the beauty of Canada's wilderness with three nights in Banff, from where you'll venture into the Banff and Yoho National Parks for a full-day tour with an expert guide, who'll teach you about these unique natural landscapes.

See more of Canada's exceptional scenery as you board the historic Rocky Mountaineer. Created over a century ago, the route weaves its way through the Canadian wilderness, including beautiful mountain passes, serene lake shores, winding river canyons and pristine forests.

At the end of your second full day of traversing the Canadian wilderness on the Rocky Mountaineer you'll pull into Vancouver, where you'll set sail on an epic seven-night cruise through Alaska's Inside Passage - a network of waterways winding through the fjords and mighty forests of USA's largest state.

This jaw-dropping body of water is a wildlife haven, so keep your eyes peeled for humpback whales, orca, bald eagles and bears.

You'll get the chance to learn about the indigenous Alaskan communities in Ketchikan, dine on freshly caught fish in the state capital Juneau, and discover the sites of the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush on the Chilkoot Trail, and hike some of the region's beautiful mountains in Haines.

Throughout your cruise, you'll be treated like royalty, with comfortable accommodation and attentive service as you navigate Alaska's pristine, wildlife-filled waters on board the Ruby Princess.
