THE LOCATION

In downtown Dubai on a busy boulevard, the hotel is surrounded by shops, cafés and cinemas. Nearby there's the Dubai Mall, aquarium, KidZania indoor playground and the Burj Khalifa.

Within a 15-minute drive you'll find the World Trade Centre, Dubai International Financial Centre, Jumeirah Beach and shopping malls.

By plane: flights from London and Manchester to Dubai take 7 hours, after which, it's a 20-minute drive to the hotel. Free on-site parking available. Book flights to Dubai.

CHARACTER & STYLE

The overall style is Arabesque-meets-minimalism. The décor is mostly neutral, while design touches such as the small pottery display add character.

Like the rest of the hotel, rooms are minimalist in décor and have contemporary Arabesque features such as Oriental lamps. Rooms have views of the street, pool or Burj Khalifa. Marble bathrooms have baths and walk-in showers.

Food & Drink

There are two restaurants. The Courtyard is an attractive place to dine al fresco. The Nezesaussi Gril is a sports lounge with rugby memorabilia and big screens to watch sport. The oven-baked marinated seabass with chives, olives, cherry tomatoes and sautéed spinach was tasty.

Nezesaussi Grill: sports grill and international cuisine. Open daily 12pm-2am.

The Courtyard: contemporary Arabic cuisine, dishes include hot and cold mezze, tagines and curries. Open daily 7am-4am.
