CHARACTER & STYLE

Like most Hoxton Hotels, you'll find a mix of guests and locals tapping away at their laptops during the day and socialising at night. Chilled music plays during the day and ramps up at night, transforming the space. The lobby is huge, with a lounge area, restaurant and two bars.

THE FACILITIES

Staff are relaxed, helpful and friendly. while there's no gym, pool or spa, the hotel has plenty of fab public areas - all of which have a great vibe. Guests can even borrow bikes to explore the city.

ROOMS

The cosy, boutique feel of the hotel is somehow managed despite there being 192 rooms. Features like '70s-inspired furniture and furnishings, warm oak parquet floors, Roberts Radios and an 'Insiders' guide to Rome' all make these rooms a delight to stay in.

Room types: Shoebox, Cosy, Cosy Up, Roomy, Biggy

Key amenities: ensuite bathroom with toiletries, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge, Roberts Radio, TV, free Wi-Fi

FOOD & DRINK

The food is good but just doesn't match up to the fantastic surroundings. We loved the energising fresh breakfast juices such as carrot, beetroot, apple and ginger.

Elio: Italian cuisine using quality produce. Open Mon-Fri for lunch, Sat-Sun for brunch and daily for dinner.

Cugino: café, pastries and coffee by day, light bites and aperitivos by night. All-day dining, open daily.
