CHARACTER & STYLE

There's a real attention to detail, from immaculate oak panelling to the lush, deepest blood red velvet furnishings. This is opulent and them some. You'll feel like the star in your own film.

THE FACILITIES

You can feel like royalty by buzzing for prosecco. Or pay extra for the VIP 'Treat Me Like I'm Famous' package and you'll receive gold rose petals and luxury chocolates, as well as a personal visit from the bartender, mimosas in your breakfast hamper and a £50 bar tab: the life of luxury.

Rooms

Rooms are snug, with rich fabrics and dim lighting - and the only window is opaque glass brick. Rooms feature built-in sleigh beds and the marble-look bathrooms have heated floors.

Room types: Cabin, Classic, Suite

Key amenities: ensuite bathroom with toiletries, Nespresso machine, hidden TV mirror, hand-built cocktail bar, free Wi-Fi

Food & Drink

The House of Gods bar serves rock and roll-themed cocktails. There's a classy cabaret feel at Lilith's Lounge, named for the Queen of the Damned. The hotel doesn't serve food, although a breakfast hamper is delivered to your room. We loved the breakfast hamper bagel with turkey, Monterey Jack cheese, gooey mustardy sauce and fried potatoes.

House of Gods cocktail bar & Lilith's Lounge: decadent bar and late night hideaway, serving cocktails. Open daily.
