CHARACTER & STYLE8/10

The handsome period features - lofty central atrium, sweeping staircase, grand sash windows - have been successfully blended with a contemporary, metropolitan style. Those who like a modern townhouse style and who prefer to be out of the city centre will like it here.

THE FACILITIES7/10

There's a choice of bars, a book-lined lounge - sometimes used as a dining-room - plus a beer garden, complete with fire pit. In-room tablets allow guests to order room service and check tourist information.
