The décor here is impressive. Behind the reception desk there is a huge and splendidly-carved display case containing antiques - and there's some seriously good artwork on display too.

FOOD & DRINK
Mater Terrae is the hotel's upscale organic, vegetarian and vegan restaurant, located on the rooftop terrace. It serves an à la carte menu and various tasting menus. It also serves a buffet breakfast (with some non-vegetarian options available). We loved the artichoke heart stuffed with cashew cheese, herbs and vegetables, with broccoli purée and truffled potatoes.
Mater Terrae: gourmet restaurant and bistro bar, vegetarian and vegan cuisine. All-day dining, open daily.
