Italian composer Giacomo Puccini created some of the world's most famous and best-loved operas, such as Madama Butterfly, La bohème and Tosca. This tour, with expert talks from classical music enthusiast and broadcaster David Mellor, includes opera performances and Puccini-themed visits.
On this five-day trip you'll get the chance to visit Puccini's birthplace and museum, his lakeside villa at Torre del Lago, and his house in Viareggio. The director of the Giacomo Puccini Foundation will give you a guided tour of his premises, along with a presentation talk.
In the evenings, you'll enjoy full opera performances of Puccini's classic operas Turandot and Madama Butterfly at the Gran Teatro Puccini in Torre del Lago, with introductory talks by David Mellor.

You'll have some spare time today to enjoy Lucca before catching a return flight from Pisa to London Heathrow.
