During the trip, James willl share his love of the area during
an exclusive talk about his career, and give a cooking
demonstration.
Setting off from Bordeaux, you'll discover the UNESCO-listed
citadel in Blaye, with its magnificent historic fortress. You'll
travel onwards to visit traditional wineries and charming châteaux
in Cussac Fort Médoc, Cadillac, and Saint-Émilion while learning
all about this romantic region's history and wine culture. Your
gourmet voyage ends where it began - in beautiful Bordeaux.

your time in Cadillac, known for its deliciously flavoured dessert
wines. Today you'll visit Château Royal de Cazeneuve, the site of
Henry IV's and Queen Margot's tempestuous love and meet the current
owner for a glass of Sauternes in the reception hall.
In the evening, a special Captain's Welcome Reception and Dinner
will be prepared for you, and James Martin will give an insightful
talk about his career and answer your questions in a Q&A.

This morning, James will give a live cooking demonstration. You
will then take a scenic drive along the storied Médoc wine route,
followed by a wine tasting at a beautiful wine estate.
In the evening, there will be a gala dinner with James, during
which you will be able to meet him and take pictures before he
departs tomorrow.

Today you'll drive along the beautiful Route de la Corniche
Fleurie to Blaye Fortress, passing through one impossibly
picturesque hamlet after another.
Once you arrive, you'll discover the wonders of this historic
fortress, a UNESCO-designated citadel that once protected Bordeaux
from attacks by sea.

With Libourne as your base, today you'll travel to the nearby
Saint-Émilion and immerse yourself more deeply in the region's
history and wine culture.
The medieval town of Saint-Émilion is an ideal place to linger.
Wander its cobblestone lanes lined with wine shops and bakeries and
stop to admire the amazing rock-hewn church that extends beneath
the city's streets. To finish off the day, there'll be a wine
tasting in the cellars of a Grand Cru estate.

France's rich agricultural tradition is the heart and soul of
the region's exquisite cuisine. Today you'll get a taste of the
