Savour exquisite fine dining on the iconic Belmond British Pullman as you journey to Balfour Winery in Kent, and enjoy a tutored tasting with wine expert Oz Clarke

Come aboard the luxury private train Belmond British Pullman as it journeys through the beautiful Kent countryside on a memorable summer's day in June.

Admire the grandeur of the British Pullman when you arrive at London Victoria, where you're welcomed aboard by liveried stewards. A delicious brunch will be served during your journey to Kent in your gorgeous Art Deco carriage, at a table adorned with pristine table linen and bespoke glassware.

Enjoy the ever-changing views as the train makes its way through the countryside and arrives in the chalky downlands of Kent that are so revered by winemakers.

The pinnacle of this trip is a visit to Balfour Winery, on a wonderful 400 acre wine estate, and meeting wine expert Oz Clarke, who'll host an informative tutored tasting. You'll get a glass of delicious bubbly on arrival, which is made in the same way as fine French Champagnes, and gain an insight into grape-to-glass winemaking with an informative guided tour.

You'll also get to wander the peaceful estate with its acres of manicured vineyards, wildflower meadows, apple orchards, and ancient oak woodland.

On the journey home you'll be served an exceptional gastronomic four-course dinner, paired with the sommelier's carefully selected wines. Bask in the beautiful countryside surroundings and beautiful views from the windows. Finally, you'll arrive back at London Victoria, as your memorable day in Kent draws to a close.

This trip is also operating with special guest Dame Joanna Lumley - find out more here.

British Pullman, A Belmond Train

London Victoria Station, United Kingdom

There is no finer way to travel than on the luxurious Belmond train.

Honouring George Mortimer Pullman, the father of luxury trains, the splendidly refurbished British Pullman epitomises a glamorous era of travel. Each carriage is individually named and has a fascinating story. Some were favoured by the British Royal Family, and two were part of Winston Churchill's funeral train. Others, like Audrey and Vera, survived bomb damage during air raids over London's Victoria Station in 1940. Today, the opulent carriages are set out in tables, ready to welcome guests as they dine on their journeys through the British countryside.
