CHARACTER & STYLE
The hotel's style is relaxed and self-consciously cool, but also very practical and budget-conscious. Contemporary bathrooms have showers (rather than baths) with sustainable 'Who Gives a Crap' toilet paper, and rooms have well thought-out kitchen facilities.
Service is deliberately relaxed and the ambience sociable and inclusive. Staff regularly put on events, designed to make the hotel a focus for the local community. There's a small but well-equipped gym in the basement.

Shaman coffee house serves drinks and snacks during the day and turns into a bar at night with DJs on weekends. Robin Gill's Bermondsey Larder is the hotel's in-house restaurant, offering a farm-to-fork menu. The truffled Baron Bigod cheese with fig and walnut toast and Bermondsey St honey, brilliantly utilises some of the best English artisan ingredients.
