CHARACTER & STYLE
Interiors maintain a country-house feel with well proportioned rooms, wood panelling, a grand hand-carved staircase, decorative cornicing and light-filled rooms dotted with elegant tables and sofas, all framed by lavishly draped sash windows. The core of the hotel is classic Georgian, though subsequent extensions have carefully matched the style.
The grounds include woodland walks and a fun yew maze and for those that are so inclined, you can work out in the gym, take a dip in the pool or relax in the spa with a treatment or in the steam room. There's plenty of space for everyone, including a Morning Room, lounge, library, bar and large paved terrace. The staff are both professional and friendly.
